Kalia to lead Lake George Music Festival

Roger Kalia (CAA, ’17), cofounder of the Lake George Music Festival, says conducting the festival every summer is the highlight of his year.

“Making music with our world class musicians in such a beautiful and serene environment is not only inspiring but also a thrilling experience as a conductor,” he says.

Kalia has served as the festival’s music director and conductor since its creation in 2011. He explains the dynamic of the festival is unlike anywhere else.

“By balancing timeless classics with fresh, new works as well as innovative and unique community collaborations, together we are able to make symphonic music an integral part of the cultural fabric of Lake George.”

The festival is from August 12-24, in Lake George, New York.
