Trevino wows in unplanned NDR Radio Hannover concert

When director Markus Poschner fell ill before a performance in early May, Robert Trevino (CAA, ’12) stepped in and led the orchestra in Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No 2 and Bruckner’s Third Symphony. Despite the challenge, Trevino rose to the occasion, drawing praise from the ensemble and reviewers alike.

According to BroadwayWorld.comThe NDR Radio Philharmonic Hannover‘s general manager said they’d be delighted to have Trevino back again, and The Hannover Allgemeine Zeitung said Trevino’s performance offered a “wonderfully striking” interpretation of the works.

Trevino’s upcoming performances take him to the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Brisbane, Australia on May 19, the Taipei Symphony Orchestra in Taipai, Taiwan on May 27, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo Japan from May 31 to June 3.
