Quinn Kelsey, 2003 Solti Foundation career assistance award winner, is gracing the New York Metropolitan Opera House’s stage for the third time in his career. This time will be in the role of Giorgio Germont, the father figure in Verdi’s “La Traviata.”
This will be Kelsey’s third time filling the paternal role, and he anticipates a fourth outing at the Zurich Opera later this season. His previous performances as Germont were at the San Francisco Opera, the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Seoul Arts Center.
For those who cannot make it to New York to see Quinn, the Metropolitan Opera will broadcast the production as a part of their Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast season. Patrons can listen online at WWNO Radio’s online player.
