Stacey Tappan plays the role of Hana Glawari, the leading lady in the Light Opera Work’s production of “The Merry Widow” in Evanston, Ill. this holiday season.
The Franz Lehár operetta runs through December 31, and features Tappan. Playing opposite her is Larry Adams as Count Danilo Danilovitsch.
Tappan received the Solti Foundation’s career assistance award in 2003.
